yea, when I worked in farringdon there was a little pigeon nest out the back. The baby pigeons matured very rapidly, they looked like normal pigeons after only a couple of weeks.

Mine is that my Dad's Irish setter caught one when I was out walking it.

But, instead of killing it, the daft thing lay there with the bird trapped between its paws and started licking it until I was able to release it.

Not that grim.

Re: Anyone seen my pigeon?
A pigeon landed in my garden a few years ago that had been attacked by a fox, it had a big gash down its chest. Gave it some bird seed which it promptly swallowed, and the seed then fell out the hole in his chest back onto the ground. Pretty grim.

Don't reckon he lasted much longer.

I did once have a pigeon salad.

But it was out in rural Yorkshire, and I don't think it's at all likely they imported city pigeon.

Anyway, it was tasty, and I survived.

Re: Anyone seen my pigeon?
A couple of weeks ago there was a skanky looking feral pigeon in the garden at the feeder with some coloured leg rings.

I did wonder if it was a racer who'd just given up and gone to seed.

Also there was a sickly wood pigeon hanging around last week shitting everywhere. I put it out of it's misery and left it by the hedge for the fox.

Pigeons are a bit shit really, don't mind a turtle dove but they are rare as hen's teeth nowadays.

It flew from the corner flag in down by alpari/Bobby moore. About 2 feet across the ground the entire way. Looked to me like the steward punted it

Re: Anyone seen my pigeon?
That thing could fly? Looked like it had been living off fag butts.

Re: Anyone seen my pigeon?
Did that steward punt it before it flew across the pitch?
